I think a lot of people do not understand what real romance is? I mean anyone can buy flowers, candy and jewellery, but there is no love in that. The truly romantic things within life are those minuscule things you do everyday to show that you care, and that you are thinking of them. It is going out of your way to to make them be overwhelmed by happiness. The way you hold their hand when you know that they are scared to their wits. The random text in the middle of the day just to say, “I love you” or “I miss you”. The way they stop to kiss you when they pass by. It is dedicating their favourite song to them, letting them eat your fries, and telling them that they are the most heavenly being on this earth even if they are in their sweats. It is putting your tv show or game on pause to listen to them talk about how their day was, and simply laughing at their jokes even if they were lame. It is slow dancing in the kitchen, and kissing once you have both woken up. Romance is not about how many things you can buy for one another to convey that love, instead it is about portraying, and implementing your love for them into your actions or gestures.
